Here in America... In God We Still Trust by Diamond Rio

I don't know how long this song has been out but a friend of mine just passed it on to me. It brought tears to my eyes. To me this song is the final word about the questions we've been raising about the "separation of church and state" in this county.

Our money says "In God We Trust" and it should stay that way.

Our Pedge of Allegiance says "One nation, under God"

Our public officials are still asked to place their hands on a bible while swearing in.

Does all this mean we should establish a religion everyone is required to believe in? Heavens NO!

When I was in my early teens I decided I was an athiest. I didn't believe in any "god, gods, or spirits". Hence I refused to say the words "under God" when I recited the Pledge of Allegiance. I ignored prayers of others - thought they were silly. Yet I never, not for a moment, thought about trying to deny their right to pray or believe.

We all have the right to be wrong. Even me. :-)

In any case here is Diamond Rio's "In God We Still Trust"
